Organ Donation, An Informed Decision (NCEA Level 3)

The purpose of this unit is for students to look critically at an ethical issue about organ donation and explore how this issue affects the well-being of people and society. The unit uses the action competence cycle as an organising framework and supports learning for Level 3 health education contexts involving discussion relating to organ donation.

Students will learn how to process information and develop skills that they can use to understand ethical issues in relation to organ donation.
